But Monday is back with my post my reviews on the movies reviews i have watch.
So today i finally decided to go to the movie theatres to watch Iron Man 3 and The Great Gatsby:
Iron Man 3
Damn Damn Damn!!!! this movie is frigging ammazingggggg co staring Robert Donney Junior, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle and many others. So at its US opening on May 3 it sold out in matters of second even here in Canada i mean where else does this happens it was reportedly meant to engrosse about US $ 65 million dollars at its opening it sure has. It is the 21st highest grossing moving of all time now thats ammmmazzzzingggg.
Some of us do know the plot but for those who don't know let me get done to details:
Plot:
When Tony Stark's world is torn apart by a formidable terrorist called the Mandarin, he starts an odyssey of rebuilding and retribution.
I give this movie a good 9/10 go watch am not sparing the rest of the plot for you guys
Great Gatsby
For the Past months since watching the ads on TV, i had only been singing GREAT GATSBY finally i had decided to watch it yesterday and it didn't disappoint me. So its US opening was on Friday May 10 also sold out it matters of minutes. Its premier team was all in the glamorous 20's fashion (check my thursday post for that). It earned $ 51 million
Some of you do know the plot others haven't so ain't spoiling the plot for you guys for long
Plot:
Based on the book by Scott Fitzgerald and a remake of the 70's version, Nick Carraway (Tobey McGire) is a Yale graduate and World War 1 Veteran became depressed alcoholic, rents a house next to lavishing Jay Gatsby (Leonardo DiCaprio) from Midwest to New York. Gatsby in known mostly from his lavishing parties. He has dinner with his cousin Daisy Bunchanan (Carey Mulligan) and her husband Tom (Joel Edgerton), Daisy has plans to pair her cousin with Jordan Barker (Elizabeth Debicki). Unknown to Daisy, but to Nick, Jordan reveals that Tom has a lover living that lives in the "Valley of Ashes" an industrial dumping between West Egg and New York where lover Myrtle (Isla Fisher) with husband George Wilson (Jason Clarke) who owns her garage. Myrtle keeps daunting Tom about his wife Daisy
Although he throws parties Gatsby himself doesn't appear in them, again through Jordan, Nick is informed about a past thrust between Gatsby and Daisy of which Gatsby is still madly in love with Daisy..... The rest i live it to you to guess not spoiling for you but sadly Gatsby dies shhhhhhhh never said so
